Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
These experiences are more common than most people realize. There is a path forward that can change all of it.
What Happens When You Wait?
Bone Continues to Shrink
Every month without implants, your jawbone loses density, which can limit your options later.
Treatment Gets More Complex
Significant bone loss may require additional procedures before implants are even possible.
Costs Tend to Rise
The more involved your treatment becomes, the greater the overall investment required.
Facial Structure Changes
Bone loss beneath the gums gradually alters the shape of your face and jaw.
Denture Fit Keeps Worsening
As your bone changes shape, ill-fitting dentures become more uncomfortable and harder to adjust.
Fewer Good Years to Enjoy
A full, functioning smile now means more years of confidence, comfort, and freedom.
Acting sooner typically means simpler treatment and a faster path to the results you want.
What Are All-On-4 Dental Implants?
All-On-4 is a full-arch tooth replacement system that uses just four strategically placed titanium implants to support an entire set of replacement teeth. Rather than replacing each missing tooth individually, the four implants act as anchors for a complete, custom-crafted prosthetic. The posts are angled to take full advantage of available bone, which means many patients who have experienced bone loss are still excellent candidates. On the day of your procedure, a temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants, so you leave our office with a functioning smile. Once healing is complete, your final custom prosthetic is placed.
At Raleigh Dental Arts, we plan every All-On-4 case using 3D cone beam CT imaging, which gives us a precise, three-dimensional view of your jawbone structure. For patients seeking All-On-4 dental implants in Raleigh, NC, this technology allows Dr. Agarwal to create a detailed surgical guide before the procedure even begins, improving accuracy and minimizing post-procedure discomfort.

What to Expect With All-On-4 Treatment
Consultation and Review
Your process begins with a thorough conversation about your dental history, health, and goals. Dr. Agarwal reviews what you've experienced with missing teeth or previous dental work, answers all of your questions, and confirms whether All-On-4 is the right approach for you. You'll leave with a clear understanding of the full plan.
Precision Treatment Planning
Using our 3D cone beam CT scanner, Dr. Agarwal maps the structure of your jawbone in complete detail. This three-dimensional imaging reveals where bone is densest and most suitable for implant placement. A custom surgical guide is then created to ensure precise implant positioning on procedure day, which contributes directly to comfort and predictable outcomes.
Implant Placement Day
On the day of your procedure, you'll be comfortably settled in with local anesthesia and sedation options tailored to your comfort level. Any remaining teeth in the arch are gently removed, and Dr. Agarwal places four titanium implants using the surgical guide for accuracy. Before you leave, a temporary prosthetic is attached to the implants so you walk out with a complete, functional set of teeth.
Healing and Integration
Over the following three to six months, the implants naturally fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration (meaning the bone grows around and bonds with the titanium post). Most patients return to normal daily routines quickly. You'll follow a soft-food diet during early healing, and our team remains available throughout this phase with clear guidance at every step.
Final Smile Placement
Once your implants are fully integrated, your final custom prosthetic is crafted from high-quality materials chosen to match your natural facial features and aesthetic goals. Dr. Agarwal secures it to your implants, and you leave with a complete, permanent smile that looks and functions like your own teeth.

What to Expect After All-On-4 Treatment
First 24-48 Hours
Some mild swelling and tenderness are normal and typically peak within the first day or two. Rest, cold compresses, and over-the-counter or prescribed medication are usually all that's needed. Most patients find this period far more comfortable than they expected heading in.
First 1-2 Weeks
Swelling continues to improve, and most patients return to work and light daily activities within a few days. Sticking to soft foods during this period protects the implants as they begin integrating with the bone. You'll have clear instructions from our team about what to eat and what to avoid, and we're available to answer any questions that come up.
Long-Term Healing
The implants gradually bond with your jawbone over three to six months. During this time, your temporary prosthetic functions well for everyday life. Regular check-ins with our team allow us to monitor progress and prepare your final custom smile for placement once healing is complete.
