Insurance Coordinator

Meet Stormie, our energetic and dedicated patient schedule coordinator at Raleigh Dental Arts. Since joining our team in January 2022, Stormie has been responsible for managing the schedule, handling insurance verifications, assisting with recall lists, and answering patient questions. As the assistant to Liz, our sleep coordinator, she also helps with daily tasks and referrals.

Stormie earned her Associate of Arts degree at Wayne Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree online at East Carolina University. Her passion for dentistry began four years ago when she sought a career in the medical field that was less traumatic and more straightforward.

What Stormie loves most about her job is being part of a patient's journey to regain confidence in their smile. She enjoys working with a team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care.

Outside of her career, Stormie enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, cooking, and tackling DIY projects around the house. She takes great pride in having updated her bathrooms almost entirely on her own and is currently working on her laundry room.

A fun fact about Stormie that many people may not know is her sewing expertise. Taught by her grandmother and further refined through a high school class, Stormie has become quite skilled in this traditional craft.
