The Tooth Extraction Process
The first step is an appointment with one of our experienced dentists, who will examine the tooth with an intraoral camera and take digital x-rays to diagnose the problem. They can share these images with you so you can understand their recommendation and make an informed treatment decision.
Our caring dental team will do everything possible to ensure your comfort, including numbing the tooth with strong anesthetics and offering sedation options. After your procedure, we will provide clear aftercare instructions to help you heal properly and minimize post-extraction discomfort.
Impacted Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last teeth to arrive, typically between the ages of 17–21. They often cause problems because they don't have enough room to grow properly. When wisdom teeth crowd other teeth, they can cause pain, swelling, and potential damage to surrounding teeth and bone. In some cases, wisdom teeth don't emerge at all and get stuck or impacted in the gums.
Our dentists may recommend removing problematic or impacted wisdom teeth in these cases to prevent further complications.
Sedation Options for Your Comfort
It’s crucial to us that you have a comfortable experience. To ease your anxiety and provide peace of mind, we offer several sedation options, including oral conscious sedation and IV sedation. Additionally, we offer general anesthesia at our office, administered by an anesthesiologist to ensure your safety and comfort during the procedure.
