Born in New Jersey and briefly raised in India, I had several cavities growing up. Once I returned to NJ, I had my cavities filled at my local dentist. Personally, I was always scared before dental visits. My dentist, however, always had a way of calming me before appointments and making me as comfortable as possible.
I decided to become a dentist based on my own experiences as a patient. My childhood dentist inspired me to enter a profession where I would serve a community in need and in fear of dental care. I hope to engage my patients in their treatment and reduce their anxiety from dental procedures at Raleigh Dental Arts.
I attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine. After Tufts, I attended a two-year general practice residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. After residency, I have been in private practice mastering the art of dentistry.
I have lived in several parts of the country but I am excited to call North Carolina home. I used to play varsity tennis in college and play noncompetitively now. I am currently getting my 200 hour yoga teaching certification. I also enjoy, biking, hiking, reading, cooking, eating, and exploring new spots in the city with my husband Amol.

Meghan understands that and enjoys working with patients to help achieve their dental health and goals, striving to make every visit a more comfortable and positive experience.
